First post in a few weeks. Busy time of year with work, holidays, and now some unexpected health issues have popped up that have kept me in the dumps. I'm working my way through it the only way I know how and hope it resolves itself.
Okay no more excuses and "oh poor" me references. Lets talk about baseball cards.
Stadium Club finally released after being delayed since.....July??? I scooped up 6 hobby boxes. A little extreme but it is my favorite release of the year. I like the photography and just the glossiness of the cards and their design. I'm 25 cards away from a complete base set so I have my needs/for sale updated on TCDB. id Philpott. Above are my two favorite hits. Blk Foil Tork and a Wander Instavision #/50.
Some new low numbered Zimms for the PC. The blks were ebay purchases. The Stadium Club Chrome I got at a small card show near me.
Lastly I set up my first "table" to sell cards. Nothing fancy or big but just something to pitch in. Basically my job sets up tables for "arts and crafts" at the holiday season from black Friday through Christmas. So I pitched in just for camaraderie. I put out a bunch of cards for the local sports teams and some teams I knew my coworkers were fans of. Though I didn't expect to make much or even anything, I did manage to make $15 over this weekend and I have been getting a lot of my male coworkers asking about it.
